4th of July

For the past few years I have either been traveling or recuperating from travel and therefore haven't really celebrated Independence Day.  This year started out the same and I skipped the local parade to spend the morning working on a class I am developing, but I decided to take a break in the afternoon and meet up with my family to enjoy a picnic in the park.  In addition, we celebrated the birthday of my nephew's fiancĂ© Chrissy.

The weather was beautiful and the company was fun. It was a delightful afternoon.  Here are a few of the pictures of the day.

Long awaited update

Due to my Wannabe blog I have been very neglectful to this blog--so I figured that I needed to post a quick update on my latest news.

Recent news:

  • I finally heard from BYU and I was not accepted into their MBA program.  This didn't come as a surprise because they had contacted me in February and asked if I could raise my GMAT score.  The second time I took the test I wasn't able to score any higher.
  • I completed the redo of my National Teaching portfolio.  I will still have to wait until November/December to find out if I passed.  I only had to do marginally better with this entry and I am confident that I have a much stronger lesson.
That is all for now...

New Movie - Evil Balloons

Over MLK weekend I was able to visit Steve, Steph and the kids and while I was there we decided to film our own superhero movie.  I hope you enjoy it!

Happy New Year

I am optimistic about the new year and what will be in store.  I have given up the idea of resolutions and will be making tiny changes this year.  You can read about it here on my wannabe blog.

Here is a few things I am looking forward to for 2012:

  • Started my new blog: The Wannabe
  • Visit to Tucson for MLK weekend
  • February - WPPI convention--full registration this time!
  • April - Trip to Seattle
  • July - Trip to China with my nephew Scott
I hope your year is awesome!
